THHN/THWN-2 Copper Wire
THHN is a thermoplastic, high-heat resistant, nylon coated wire. THWN is essentially the same as THHN, but can withstand higher temperatures in both dry and wet conditions. THHN can only withstand temperatures of up to 75°C in wet conditions, while THWN can handle up to 90°C. In most cases, these wires can be used interchangeably in general purpose wiring in branch circuits, control circuits, machine tools, and appliances.
XHHW-2 Copper Building Wire
XHHW wire is generally used for power distribution in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. They are available as either solid or stranded wire, with the stranded XHHW cable providing greater flexibility. For the larger gauge sizes of wire, stranded becomes the only option due to the large cable’s need for flexibility. XHHW-2 cable offers improved insulation to the older XHHW products.
Copper USE-2 / RHH / RHW-2 Wire (XLPE Insulation)
We offer a wide selection of XLP/USE-2/RHH/RHW-2 Building Wire products. These cables featue an XLPE jacket. USE-2 or RHW-2 or RHH 90°C – 600 Volt Stranded Building Wire is suitable for use in general purpose wiring applications and may be installed in raceway, conduit, direct burial and aerial installations where a cable having superior flame retardance is required.
Offering:
• Stranded Bare Copper from 12 AWG to 500 MCM
• Solid Bare Copper from 24 AWG to 2 AWG
MC Cable is typically used when electrical wiring needs extra protection from fire, vibration, gnawing pests, and physical damage in general. There are Aluminum Armored Metal Clad Cable in a variety of sizes. Metal Clad cable may be used for branch, feeder, and service for distribution in commercial, industrial, and multi-residential construction.
